Ayton is a free agent though right? Plus Maxey is a better piece than anyone on that list imo. He's got superstar written all over him.

Shit is flying fast and is hard to keep up. Saw that PJ Tucker is going to the 76ers. Joker got the largest contract in NBA history, 5 years $264 million. Booker is getting his supermax and dumbass Beal decided to take his max instead of winning.

The Thunder just gave Lou Dort 5-year and 88M contract. Good god thats an overpay.

Saw a report from Windhurst that Kyrie is trying to go to the Lakers and the Lakers may have a package to trade for KD lol. I bet KCC would instantly love that :p

Wait til you see what the Knicks give Brunson.

Why of course. Great use of the MLE LeGM.

Difference is I think Brunson is actually a good player. Probably deserves most of it unless its supermax.

That’s where I’m at. If the trade happens, he has to be involved. But man I love that guy.

They tendered Ayton so they have the right to match. That will lead to a sign-and-trade. Ayton just has to be willing to sign an offer sheet with the Nets.

He is a good player, but a $25 million dollar a year player? I know NBA contracts are inflated but seems excessive

UChieffyBugger 06-30-2022 06:20 PM

The Tucker deal bugs me but I guess with Embiid and Harden requesting him Morey had no choice.

This is going to complicate things for the Nets in trading KD

I’ve heard that they’ll have to get a third team involved because the Nets don’t want Ayton.

Nothing wrong with Beal being loyal. He probably enjoys playing there so good for him for sticking with his team.

**** Durant. I'm sure he will play for a team this upcoming season then leave if he doesn't get his way or they don't win a championship. That's just how he is. Dude is a snake.

dirk digler 06-30-2022 08:20 PM

In regards to this KD trade, it will be the biggest in NBA history and the Nets will want close to equal value plus you have to match salaries. I can't forsee the Nets trading KD for a bunch of picks and a group of average players.

So for example the Suns, do they have a good enough package without throwing in Booker or for the Heat they would have to send Adebayo. But the Nets would have to move Simmons first or throw him into the deal for either of those trades to happen.
