One thing that get lost in the scheme fit issue is the fact that Hitchens absolutely was not healthy for most of the year.

They can't afford him next year. They'll save $15 million on the cap by moving on from him - this is the penance they'll serve for getting him relatively cheap last season. The only way Watkins is here next season is if Hill isn't. They cannot afford to keep both guys. |

The most likely is yes, he gets cut. The only other one is either he or the Chiefs or both decide that him being here is valuable so they rework a new deal that makes his cap number low again. I don't think that's very likely and if it were to happen it would be because he either loves being here or he had another meh year. |

And yes we overpaid. And we did it agin this year. I don’t give a **** though because I’d rather overpay and add talent while we can as opposed to sitting on cap space like the Colts and not getting much better in the offseason. This is the time to spend. You idiots that bitch about overpaying can’t get it through your ****ing heads. |
I was absolutely expecting the offense to regress a bit just because last year it was just so good. It was historically good.
But between Mahomes looking supposedly clearly better, Hill right in his prime, Watkins looking healthy and great, my man Robinson ready to finally show his potential, newcomer Hardman who should definitly contribute, I'm not so sure this offense will regress. I know it's all offseason talk but if the Oline holds up, man this offense will be good again. |

Watkins probably has a really good year this year but I bet he takes a little discount to stay and catch passes from the Superbowl MVP. I mean he's already a multimillionaire.
