This can go many ways.

Great episode. That last scene felt very real.

Ok...technically he's started his 'Saul' persona selling drop phones to criminals...I get it. Yet, he's not become the Saul that's the reason for how he became part of the original show. We did get one flash forward of him scrapping his Saul law practice, grabbing all his stashed cash and shredding all the documents, but nothing more than that.

As of last episode, he's been denied getting his law license back and has to wait a year to reapply. I guess that's handy since we'll have to wait a year to see him get his law license on the last episode of next season in late 2019 early 2020...yeah, real barn burner...

Does anyone have any idea when him working at the Omaha Cinnnabon takes place? I was thinking that it took place AFTER Breaking Bad - meaning after he went into hiding - but I'm not sure I've seen anything that says.

It has to be after BB, the first scene with Omaha Gene was him watching his old "Better Call Saul" commercials that ran during BB.

Thanks. I guess I missed that, or forgot it, but just always assumed it was after BB.

I believe he also made references in BB of disappearing to Omaha and managing a Cinnabon.

Well, season 1 of BCS feels like it was about 37 years ago, so it's understandable.
