Well played, Ferris.

I do find it interesting that the Rodgers news broke when the draft started...was a nice attention deflection from the Watson story.

Much nicer PR story dominating the off-season media lull than fixating on a sex scandal involving one of it's younger stars.

Rodgers and the Packers FO will kiss and make-up...they arent shipping off their MVP/face-of-the-franchise and going with a QB that has never taken a snap.

Lol not happening.

He’s not going to waste a year when his team is a legitimate contender. It’s not like he’d be a free agent after.

Yeah, I have to agree... he's not young and the team has very talented guys depending on him. It would just be a total dick move that none would forgive him for holding out.

Very true... had not considered the distraction from Watson side of it. Maybe Adam got a nice check for floating that out there.

Good point. Rodgers is pretty close to Adams. How do you think Adams would feel about Rodgers completely sabotaging their season in his contract year?

There’s no way Rodgers can pull it off without looking like a complete asshole IMO.

Yeah, he would not be happy... granted, they each have to look out for themselves. And, lots of people hate their bosses, but still go to work esp when they're getting paid his money. If he holds out because he's really pissy about the GM --- that's just poor form.

This simply isn’t true.

Schefter chose to release it on draft day. He said so himself.

They knew about this for months but nothing ever got reported until draft day huh? Schefter talks to players. I bet he was asked to do that but won’t ever confess that.

Rodgers is just the type of petty prick to set that up.

Schefter is just falling on the sword so he keeps getting information from players and agents.

Anyone who doesn't think Rodgers and his minions weren't 100% behind that info leaking on draft day is a very naïve person.

And, now... those very same forces are conjuring up the Watson to Denver talk in an effort to prompt the Packers to act before they lose out on a haul. It's like they're trying to get the Packers and Texans into a bidding war to see who can give their QB to Denver for the most appealing price to Denver. Maybe that's where QJ takes the narrative. :thumb:

Rodger is an arrogant douche bag.

He got his offensive system changed and the Head Coach fired. Now he's going for his GM for shits and giggles.

This isn't about not telling Roger they were going to draft a QB. This is about is arrogance and money. He likes to make Green Bay the NFL media dance, and he wants a new deal before he gets too old to demand one.

He likes to date starlets and get as much media attention as he can.

Can't wait until Love is a Bronco.

TribalElder 06-09-2021 01:53 PM

That's odd, heard mention today on FS1 that Jordan Love has been inaccurate with his throws
