Sorenson is clutch!! Dirty dan drops the hammer!!

Interested in hearing how Hardman looks

Mahomes is throwing bombs with upward trajectory. |
Dirty Dan is a solid role player, just not a starter.

So have they gone 11-on-11 full pads yet?
Offensive updates are cool, but I'd like to see our defense make a few plays against Mahomes and co. |

Pads are on today, now TC really starts
|
The scrub corners have been getting a lot of work against the first team.
Seems like they might be trying to find another Char Ward. |
Mark Fields is really talented, they have a chance to have something there.

But to be honest, the publics mind is made up on this, so it doesn't really matter what he does or doesnt' do so I guess it's semantics either way. I just think if he'd have just done nothing, it would have pretty much been died down. |
Have to enjoy how on Good Morning football today the woman on there basically called Chiefs fans pieces of shit for cheering Tyreek.

But if he plays okay in the first 2 weeks and then goes under the radar for the last 2, I'm betting they're either hunting for an IR slot for him or looking to keep him on the D/L before sneaking him on the practice squad. As you know from the CP Mock, I had the guy on my radar as early as the 4th round. I REALLY like Mark Fields and feel like he can be a significant contributor for us this year. He's a true CB not just a developmental athlete that you hope can learn enough footwork to not embarrass himself. |

Clark is a BEAST. He and Jones are a top flight rush tandem. Okafor and Ogbah are nice 2nd tier pieces. The LB corps got faster. Hitchens is back in a 4-3 where he's excelled. Honey Badger is much better than an absent Berry. Breeland is better than Nelson. Ward should continue to improve. Speaks will be back in position as a D-lineman. We're not even talking about the rookies, who show promise. But how about the deep, talented, and experienced coaching staff and how hands-on they are? If they'd been healthy, last year should have been a respectable defense talent-wise. Coaching was shit (guys not knowing assignments at the end of the year). No adjustments, no fire, no nothing. Lame. This will be a much better squad. |

DB's ALL get burned, as it's one of the toughest positions in sports, especially with the rules handicap. DB's just need to try and balance it out as much as possible. Sorenson may not be worth the cost, but he's not horrible at his job. |
Wade was kind of lost in the shuffle last year, but the guy was considered by some to be the best small school CB in the draft (others liked Tremon).
Like I’ve said before I have a buddy that went to school with him that raves about his talent. He’s a great kid. |

I don't know if that dude came into practice with his helmet on backwards or what. I'll never understand how he didn't get a longer look here and there; the guy made plays when he was on the field in pre-season. And I get that it was just pre-season but ****ing hell, what did they have to lose by trying him out? Surely he could've just been sent out there to club and maul like Bailey was doing. It's not like Bailey ever bothered with technique anyway, he just pushed forward. As a rotational DL and guy who could pop up and allow someone like Houston to put a hand down inside him to screw up protections, surely he had some value. I just don't understand how he got buried so thoroughly and so quickly. |
Are they in pads today?
