Keep getting back to that. |
I got it.
Andy Reid is an elite level WR with an untied shoe. He goes out there, does amazing things, but trips on his shoelace at the most inopportune times. The fans yell at him constantly to tie his ****ing shoes. The "experts" talk about how elite he is. He makes some empty statements about doing better. Next week, what do we see? Another goddamn untied shoe. It would be so easy to hire somebody to tie them, but he's all, "I can do it! Don't touch my ****ing shoes!" Frustrating, easy fix. |

Watch the second half of the Philly/NE Super Bowl...today was basically a rerun. |
His timeout at the end of the first half gave tampa 3pts.

Good coaches don't do that; ie, give the opponent points in a close game. |
That pic in the op still cracks me up.

After today I'm more ready than ever to have the chiefs organization shock the NFL world by firing Andy putting Alex down to 3rd string on the roster.
At some point you have to call the TOD. |

KC has had an incredible amount of luck in several wins.it has masked that terrible offense and QB play. It has started to catch up to then and expose them for what they are.

Alex Smith just completed another bubble screen for -3 yards...

We SOOOOO need to get rid of that play. And if we bring it back, bring it back well masked. |

Running bubble screens against a small/speed defense like Denver is pretty freaking stupid. Most of those lateral passes should be completely removed from the gameplan when we play Denver. If Hill wasn't so ****ing fast those sweep plays wouldn't have a chance either. Flawed gameplan from the very beginning, all on Andy Reid. Pound the ball up the middle Playaction pass using routes that give a high probability of YAC Rinse/repeat Andy did the same each time he's played Denver. He actually ran the ball more last night. It's only taken him 3 years to learn that much. |
Quote:
**** the "extension of the running game" and START RUNNING THE ****ING BALL. A draw play has more chance of success in the KC offense than any bubble screen in 2016. Quote:
And the fact that Andy the HC hasn't fired Andy the OC... Bad clock management + allowing himself to be a shit OC = Andy is not a good head coach. A good head coach would FIX THIS NOW. Before the playoffs... |
Reid is soft, don't let this one win make you put back on the blinders.

Those bubble screens should be replaced with draws when they play Denver. |

I love these lucky wins. It keeps the fat man in kc.

Raider fan talking shit. Cute. |
Reid deserves credit for the Chiefs resiliency, but honestly a more competent offensive gameplan during the first three quarters would have put the game out of reach, considering how dominant the Chiefs defense and special teams were playing.
|
Quote:
They missed opportunities for sure, but the broncos defense isn't one to get crazy aggressive against. |
No surprises. The team never gives up. Finds a way to be relevant. All Reid staples. He also was lost with using his timeouts. A Reid staple.
Not challenging the 4th down spot but then willing to burn a timeout to avoid a delay of game on 3rd and 13 was a horrific decision. Horrific. At least take a chance on that play considering how huge it was. And why are we wasting a timeout to protect a 3rd and 13 when we aren't going for the first down anyway?! If the Broncos WR was aware and stopped at the 1 we wouldn't have had the timeouts to protect that clock because of that decision. |

Having said that, may I now ask you your ultimate thoughts on the fact that neither Reid nor Smith will ever hoist a Hunt Trophy much less a Lombardi, due to the inevitable "midas touch" of their collective post-season mojo? And having established that fact, stone-cold as it is, how do you equate the satisfaction of winning seasons vs. never winning it all? Expletives and/or SJW-like tantrums are encouraged in your response, or the responses of other who may wish to participate. Thank you! |
