I got it.

Andy Reid is an elite level WR with an untied shoe.

He goes out there, does amazing things, but trips on his shoelace at the most inopportune times.

The fans yell at him constantly to tie his ****ing shoes. The "experts" talk about how elite he is. He makes some empty statements about doing better. Next week, what do we see? Another goddamn untied shoe.

It would be so easy to hire somebody to tie them, but he's all, "I can do it! Don't touch my ****ing shoes!"

Frustrating, easy fix.

Good coaches don't do that; ie, give the opponent points in a close game.

After today I'm more ready than ever to have the chiefs organization shock the NFL world by firing Andy putting Alex down to 3rd string on the roster.

At some point you have to call the TOD.

KC has had an incredible amount of luck in several wins.it has masked that terrible offense and QB play. It has started to catch up to then and expose them for what they are.

Um...The best win of the season was against the Raiders in Oakland. A healthy Chiefs team EASILY kicked your little bitch asses. And, if I remember, you were beside your self about it and turned on your team and especially your HC...You have no room to talk about "Luck Wins" because the Raiders have more of those than any team this season.

I gave you guys credit. 1 freaking game and it was a good win. Now you have to admit KC has been riding a huge turnover margin that isn't going to last. Over teams shooting themselves in the foot isn't going to last. Getting negative qb play and winning isn't ping to work.

But since we have seen no inclination of him giving up playcalling, all that is conjecture and his game management remains suspect, and during the games that truly matter, his teams seem to always be unprepared or get out coached in game management.

Ryan Fitzcassel is a shitty QB. With what, 7 turnovers?

We should've scored in the 30s today, bare minimum.

The Jets defense is good, we got lucky today. Don't get it twisted.

From late September.

I will amend this now to say "Alex Smith is over".

It's a staple in any variation of the spread offense, as it is an extension of the run game. Most of the time KC calls it, they have a numbers advantage. If someone misses a block, just like a running play, its blown up.

Proof that Andy Reid is responsible for a lot of the offensive problems.

Running bubble screens against a small/speed defense like Denver is pretty freaking stupid. Most of those lateral passes should be completely removed from the gameplan when we play Denver.

If Hill wasn't so ****ing fast those sweep plays wouldn't have a chance either.

Flawed gameplan from the very beginning, all on Andy Reid.

Pound the ball up the middle
Playaction pass using routes that give a high probability of YAC
Rinse/repeat

Andy did the same each time he's played Denver. He actually ran the ball more last night. It's only taken him 3 years to learn that much.

True. However, with NO threat of the deep ball, defenses are stacked within 10 yards of the LOS. So, even WITH a numbers advantage, the Chiefs aren't able to be effective because everyone is keying on that play. It gets called multiple time per game.

**** the "extension of the running game" and START RUNNING THE ****ING BALL. A draw play has more chance of success in the KC offense than any bubble screen in 2016.

So...you think one game means Andy has completely fixed his clock management difficulties?

And the fact that Andy the HC hasn't fired Andy the OC...

Bad clock management + allowing himself to be a shit OC = Andy is not a good head coach.

A good head coach would FIX THIS NOW. Before the playoffs...

He didn't run the ball ENOUGH, imho. Or just BARELY enough.

Those bubble screens should be replaced with draws when they play Denver.

Reid deserves credit for the Chiefs resiliency, but honestly a more competent offensive gameplan during the first three quarters would have put the game out of reach, considering how dominant the Chiefs defense and special teams were playing.

Well, that defense accross from them is pretty good too.

They missed opportunities for sure, but the broncos defense isn't one to get crazy aggressive against.

NJChiefsFan 11-28-2016 04:21 PM

No surprises. The team never gives up. Finds a way to be relevant. All Reid staples. He also was lost with using his timeouts. A Reid staple.

Not challenging the 4th down spot but then willing to burn a timeout to avoid a delay of game on 3rd and 13 was a horrific decision. Horrific. At least take a chance on that play considering how huge it was. And why are we wasting a timeout to protect a 3rd and 13 when we aren't going for the first down anyway?! If the Broncos WR was aware and stopped at the 1 we wouldn't have had the timeouts to protect that clock because of that decision.

They may or may not be the AFC’s best team. That will be determined in the playoffs. But they do have the AFC’s best resume.

In the last three weeks alone, they beat a top-three defense, a top-three offense, and a top-five offense. Two of those wins were on the road. The other gave them a season sweep against the Raiders, who have lost only one other game. The Chiefs have beaten both Super Bowl teams on the road, and three teams that are currently tied for first place in their divisions.

They have won 21 of their last 25 games, a stretch that started a month before the Royals’ parade.

No. Your current success is a wonderful testament to the consistency of Andy Reid and the Greatness that IS John Dorsey.

Having said that, may I now ask you your ultimate thoughts on the fact that neither Reid nor Smith will ever hoist a Hunt Trophy much less a Lombardi, due to the inevitable "midas touch" of their collective post-season mojo?

And having established that fact, stone-cold as it is, how do you equate the satisfaction of winning seasons vs. never winning it all?

Expletives and/or SJW-like tantrums are encouraged in your response, or the responses of other who may wish to participate.

Thank you!

With the win last night, Reid passed Coughlin and Shanahan on the all time list. Win next week, and he ties Parcells. He's right on Jeff Fisher's heels too.

Seems to me "all he does" of late, is strap on a jock, lace up some cleats, and try not to step on his own dick whilst simultaneously trying to not **** things up for the defense and special teams.

But, whatevah...

The offense scored 14 points yesterday, enough to win it even without Hill's TD.

Enough to win. That is all you need. You don't get anything extra for winning by more points.
