The Bills and Ravens will still be good. Josh Allen is the closest thing to Mahomes there is in the league and the Ravens are well ran.

The Bengals have Burrow, although the health is a concern.

The Texans should be good and the Chargers will eventually get better with Harbaugh.

No one else really matters as they don't have a QB.

The Bills are going to have to run Allen so much next season that it might finally be time for a significant injury.

They have Dawson Knox and Dalton Kincaid at TE with complimentary WR’s in Curtis Samuel and Khalil Shakir.

Trade up for BTJ or Mitchell and they’ll be fine

Knox? LMAO

Kincaid is the only guy they have that scares me even a little. Shakir and Samuel are solid, but a little redundant as both are better out the slot.

So if you're assuming whatever rookie they draft steps right in and is a day 1 stud? Sure, but things rarely work out that way, and Mitchell/BTJ are guys that might need some time/development.

Good. Diggs can keep losing to KC.

staylor26 04-03-2024 11:52 AM

They lost Diggs AND Davis. Their two top WRs the last few years, and the only guys they had that are legit outside WRs.

To assume they'll just keep it rolling is foolish. They have a lot of work to do.

Diggs was bad the 2nd half of the season. He looked washed. And the Bills were winning despite him. He was also a massive headache for them.

They paid him to be a difference maker and make these plays. Not alligator arm them.

Their WRs won't matter as long as that drooling imbecile is their QB1.

His production was way down for sure, but defenses still had to account for him and double team or put their best corner on him.

Again, it's not even just Diggs. They lost their 2 best WRs from the last few years.

You can pretend that's nothing if you want, but that's just silly. If Samuel and Shakir were our top 2 WRs going into the season, we'd be shitting our pants.

I'm not even saying they can't be good. My original point that you argued against was that Allen is going to have to use his legs a lot. I don't see how you can argue against that.

They can take a chance on him this year and hope it makes their offense unstoppable. If it doesn't work out, they can cut him after this season for only the dead money above.

They probably figured it was a risk worth taking this year to try and make a run in the playoffs.

Ah, ok. I missed this part. Makes much more sense now I guess if they don't plan on keeping him? Otherwise, keep on getting rid of that cap space.

Defenses still treated Diggs as their top threat. Now the rest of that already lackluster room gets promoted up a spot.

I mean, you can't seriously think Shakir or Samuel drawing coverage from a team's top corner is a winning situation for Buffalo.

I keep forgetting about Davis. Sheesh.
