In regards to Packers extending Tonyan, which clears cap space:

Quote:

Per NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, the Packers clearing cap space indicates they are planning on Rodgers to be with the team in 2021. Rodgers has a cap number of $37,202,000 heading into this season, and while a trade would save them $22,850,000 in cap space -- whereas the Packers wouldn't be maneuvering to clear cap space if they thought Rodgers (and his huge salary) wasn't going to be in Green Bay in 2021.
They have no intention of trading him. Broncos fans are delusional.

Perineum Ripper 06-04-2021 05:56 PM

Broncos don’t need Rogers, they can just get Chad Kelly, and all the other QBs Knowmo has worked his gag reflex on over the years. All those guys are better than Mahomes according to Knowmo.

I completely forgot how bag of shit stupid this kid is, how he hasn’t drowned in the shower while looking up. Is still a got damn mystery.

They can plan and clear all the cap space they want, if Rodgers doesn't show up they'd be fools not to trade him.

Rodgers isn’t going to retire. AJ Hawk already said there’s pretty much no chance that happens.

We’ve been over this.

It's all he has. Why the **** would he go to Denver and settle for 2nd every year when he can feast on a shit North and lesser NFC? He's going nowhere

When your QB room is comprised of the 29th (Bridgewater) and 33rd (Lock) rated QBs from 2020...what else do they have?

Lock ranked even lower than dead last...

TribalElder 06-04-2021 06:55 PM

**** the Denver Broncos and all their fans

They deserve to suffer in QB purgatory for what they did to Timothy Tebow! ROFL

They aren’t trading him this season. They aren’t going to settle for late 1st rd picks.

They’re going to wait him out bc he has zero leverage. They have him under contract until 2024.

Maybe next Spring Knowmo. But you’ll be bidding against teams with more to offer so I doubt it

I was typing up a comment to q Joe but read WI Chief post and said to myself "that about covers it".
Please Denver Sign AR. It will be another 10 year of LOL for me out here.

Yeah, we've really been coming apart at the seams since John left. No young talent to speak of anywhere on the roster and trading a first rounder for a young Pro Bowl LT while also getting a second rounder in return is really going to kill us.

As for Mahomes' cap hit, they are pushing it off until the cap explodes because of the new TV money. You realize our owner is the Chairman of the Finance Committee, right? Pretty sure he knows what's coming. You're just yearning and grasping for things that aren't even issues for us. Meanwhile, you talk about getting Rodgers like you're only going to have to give up a 7th round pick. You'll be giving up more for him than Veach has given up for every player he's traded for combined.

As for Rodgers coming to Denver, the guy hasn't won jack shit in Green Bay while facing QBs the likes of Matt Stafford, Nick Foles, Kirk Cousins, and Mitch Trubisky. He has never once had an elite QB to face in his own division. Every time he goes head to head with another elite QB in an important game, he loses. He's a whiny bitch who folds like a cheap tent when the chips are down. He has zero passion left for the game anymore.

We will be kicking the hell out of you two times per season for the next 15 years. If you happen to get Rodgers, we'll beat you by slightly less the next 3 years before he retires and you're once again left without a QB for the next 10 years. The end.

Enjoy your day. ;)

LMAO

For those studs? I am surprised GB doesn't throw in Bakhtiari and Devante Adams as well, you know, to convince Denver to part with such talent.

Packers are a mess. Trading Rogers would be a huge mistake. Then again, they've been crapping on him for years. I would have fired them after they drafted Jordan Love.

Rainbarrel 06-04-2021 10:08 PM

After the NFC title game. Rodgers wants to drop from the #2 offensive line to #25? Elway must have turned up the used car salesman charm.

Yep, poor Rodgers has to play behind an All-Pro O line, has a great running game, and top receiver. They have just shit all over him.
