I'm assuming they got a bag of crap for Rosenthal, Moore is not good at these types of trades and it's for less games than usual.

If it is it'll be a SS prospect since they got that locked down. |

Padres have a VERY deep system. Definitely one of the teams you wanna be pulling prospects from. Ideal trade scenario for KC, just anxious to see who they got. |

Can Mcbroom play every day?

Edward Olivares top 20 guy from Padres. And another player not announced yet

None. That’s why you trade him. Same reason you trade a guy like Rosenthal on a one year deal when you’re not competitive. You stack as many prospects in your system as you can and ‘hope’ some of them ‘hit’. Prospects are just that, prospects. But if you can pull a couple from a higher end system like the Padres vs. a shit system like say, the Rangers, then your odds substantially increase. You can fairly criticize Moore for a lot of things. This is not one of them. He played this hand perfectly. That’s all you can ask with a situation like this. |

Olivares was never gonna play there so I guess that makes sense. I was holding out hope it would be Gabriel Arias, but that was asking alot. |
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">In addition to Edward Olivares (as reported by <a href="https://twitter.com/AJCassavell?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">@AJCassavell</a>), the Royals are expected to receive a PTBNL from the Padres in the deal for Trevor Rosenthal, per sources. Any player not on a 60-man Player Pool can't be traded during the season, so we'll likely see a lot of PTBNLs.</p>— Mark Feinsand (@Feinsand) <a href="https://twitter.com/Feinsand/status/1299809300236374018?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">August 29, 2020</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

Olivares is a decent risk, he's performed at every level this far. However he's 24 and basically in a spot where he'll never play.. He's basically another free swinging OF with power that Ks a ton. |
Good read on Royals new player, Olivares, if you’re not familiar with him.

What's odd about this, Franchy Cordero was traded to make room for Oliveras. Now they've given up on both as Wil Myers and Josh Naylor have played well in Tommy Phams absence.

Gotta sit Mondesi for a while, he is clueless at the plate.
