Nice to see some consistency. Let’s see if they can make up ground from that losing streak.

Moving to Milwaukee, which has a lot less ground to cover, probably helps him quite a bit.
I’m glad to see Cain playing well. He’s a really good guy. |
Brian Goodwin thing still puzzling as hell. Him in RF and Whit at 2nd makes this team look so much better

Does whit move to RF and Soler to DH when Lopez is called up?
|
Quote:
Probably is their best alignment. I’d start Lopez hitting 9th. If he adjusts quickly and is doing a good job getting on base, I would slide him to 1, then slide everyone else back a slot. |

Now...would I rather have had Cain last year and this year over Gordon? Sure?...although Gordon's 2019 is looking great so far. But yeah...I'd love to have Cain, but that doesn't mean I can make up facts to beat up on the Royals front office - just because. IF Cain was ever an important priority/option it would have been a choice between signing Cain vs. Hosmer. Now..under that scenario, he would have a point. The Royals would have made the wrong decision, had the Padres not saved us from ourselves. |
Keller suspended 5 games. Anderson 1 game
|
Dozier is 8th in average exit velocity. O'Hearn is in the top 25 or 30 in exit velocity and is hitting only .189 in balls in play, suggesting a lot of bad luck.

Quote:
Royals decided the money was for Hosmer long term not Cain. That was the discussion Hosmer or Cain. 28 year old vs 32 year old. First base vs CF. Minor injury vs leg injury. You can see what direction the were going was the right one for most of the red flags. |
Did anyone see this the other day...?

Ridiculous. |

I guess Anderson was lucky he was up against a pitcher who, being himself, targets the ass-cheek instead of the ear hole as pay-back and baseball justice. |

Brad Keller. Apparently identifies as a black man. |
Quote:
Is Keller weak? |
Keller is from Georgia, and Anderson is from Alabama. Both around the same age. I'm sure knew about each other growing up. Wonder if there is some bad blood there that extends from their childhood even.
I really don't like when guys bean someone because they bat flip. But I guess we are that team now :rolls eyes: |
Should up put it in his eye socket. Bet the pussy wouldn't be running his mouth after that.

If he left out the barking, he wouldnt have worn a pitch on his ass. |

I'm glad Keller is appealing the suspension, if nothing else, during the appeals process, the Royals should make the MLB discuss Anderson's use of the N-word. I'm sure the MLB will try to deflect the topic by saying that none of the suspensions have anything to do with words or the bat-flip, it's all based on actions (the bean for Keller and "for their actions during the skirmish" for the White Sox assholes), but the Royals could insist the topic be discussed and perhaps add more games to Anderson's suspension. There are ways. And if the MLB sticks to "the words and bat-flip didn't/don't matter", then perhaps some Royals should test that theory next time they play these useless ****ers. And Anderson can go **** himself, I hope he gets drilled regularly. Furthermore I hope pitchers walk the ladder, 2 inches at a time, until he either gets with the program or has the laces in his ear hole. |

Dumb for everyone involved.

Uh, the Royals just tied it in the 8th on a three-run Gordong

And take the lead on a Dozier dong

that Royals bullpen is really something

And before you can even sit down, have a cup of coffee and enjoy the comeback, the Royals Failpen strikes again . . . . .
Enter Willy Peralta, exit lead. |
chapman is damn good. let's hope he tries to sneak piece of cheese past these hungry rats
|
Barlow with a clutch K against Frazier
|
Gee. Nice job, Gore.
|
what the hell, Gore
|
Come on Gore, you can't do that.
|
Gore is worthless. DFA his ass immediately.

He's got one ****ing job. |
Soler 0-5, 5 K's
What a bum |
awesome ab's by Soler and Owings
|
don't have much faith in Diekman...
|
20 K’s for the Royals
|
Throw strikes, dipshit
|
Diekman is ass.
|
Recipe for disaster.
|
we cut these pieces of shit yet?!
Oh wait, wrong thread. |

I just see no place for this cat on the Royals. Can't play defense, will never hit .250 with 30 homers to stay in the line up. |
Come on Ian, need a K here!
|
why pitch to that guy w/ the open base at first and one out? #yosted
|
Ridiculous... Wtf
This team has heart, and the bullpen can't throw a strike.. smdh |
Just wait for June and July when this team heats up!

I haven't seen anything official, but looks like Duffy would be on target to start Friday night if they recall him from his rehab assignment. Sounds like he pitched fairly well Saturday night for the Naturals. Fillmyer just needs to get himself right at AAA. With the exception of one start, he just doesn't look like the pitcher he was near the end of last year.
On another front, while he's not on the 40 man...Starling just seems to have figured something out. I'd be just as happy with him in RF as Phillips, defensively (both have canon arms)...and Starling is getting it done offensively and Phillips is not. If they want to keep Gore around, surely he could make it through waivers and be assigned to AAA? |
Anybody going to the game tonight in tampa?

Gordon just hit a moonshot about to the scoreboard at the back of the Trop. He's locked in.
|
Why can't we field a decent RF
|
Time to end Soler experiment.
|
Heh. I love that people don’t even bother creating daily game threads anymore.

Right behind Royals bullpen. I hope I don’t get burned when it spontaneously combusts.
|
At least Gordon is a legitamite Star
|
As usual, about half the crowd here (and I use that term loosely) is Royals fans.
