Did Rogers start a leaving forever thread?

Sassy Squatch 04-29-2021 02:52 PM

Gutekunst won't trade him.

The Packers writing novels on how not to handle franchise players here.

Also Green Bay is the perfect example of why you need an owner not just community shareholders. Having an owner would have solved a lot of Green Bay's problems with Aaron.

And also when your franchise's best quarterback continuously talks about the team drafting offensive help, you try and accommodate him at some point, and not -- as the packers have done year after year -- ignore the offense in the first round

They wanted to focus on building and maintaining that defensive powerhouse.

Aaron Rodgers' "I am never happy and will always have a chip on my shoulder act", got old and annoying long ago.

Green Bay is not going to trade him five minutes before the draft, so either he goes all in with his supposed unhappiness and retires/sits out the season or he stops with this passive aggressive bullshit and plays out his contract.

I hope he just retires.

We should see if Rodgers wants to mentored by Mahomes?

Barret 04-29-2021 02:57 PM

Could this be more of why no one has been able to lockdown the SF pick at #3. All the talking heads have said Lance or Jones. But could this have all been a smoke screen for an Aaron Rodgers trade?

SF is tight lipped about everything thy do. Let people talk about these rookies while they wheel and deal behind the scenes for Aaron Rodgers. Maybe?

I'd rather he not. Just keep demanding a trade over and over. And not show up to camp. Total standoff. Same thing I wanted for Watson before he was destroyed.

Mama Hip Rockets 04-29-2021 02:58 PM

He'd be a decent backup, I guess. Henne and a 6th?

The only draft pick Green Bay should consider trading Aaron Rodgers for at this point is the #1 overall pick to get Trevor Lawrence and that is not happening.
