Patrick Mahomes Named Among "100 Most Influential People of 2020" by TIME Magazine
The football-watching world has been well aware of what Kansas City Chiefs' quarterback Patrick Mahomes can do for a while now, but as the reigning Super Bowl MVP continues to shatter records and re-define the way the game is played, he's beginning to earn his place on the global stage.

The 25-year-old Mahomes was named among TIME Magazine's "100 Most Influential People of 2020" on Tuesday, joining a group that includes world leaders, activists, recording artists and politicians.

Mahomes is more than just a transcendent athlete with an unprecedented resume for a player his age. At just a quarter-century old, he's already one of the most prominent figures on Earth.

"When Patrick Mahomes steps onto the football field, all eyes are drawn to him," wrote Hall of Fame shortstop Derek Jeter, who penned Mahomes' entry on the list. "It's not just that his combination of athleticism, creativity and vision is fun to watch. What his play really showcases is his love of the game and the commitment he's made to his teammates and coaches, and it's clear that is the true foundation of his success

To me he is a god like QB on my favorite football team the Defending World Champion Kansas City Chiefs. If he can get a Whataburger in KC North Then I will put him up there With George Washington in the enfluence department. I would support and likeness of him carved into a whole mountainside overlooking and seen from Denver Colorado. He would be riding that tamed bronco pony withe the face of John Elway bareback. Both his arms raised in the air like Bob Johnson on Warpaint with the head of Von Miller in one hand and the ghost of Pat Bowlens head in the other.
