Star Wars: Rebels

And here's our replacement for Clone Wars. Coming to Disney XD in fall 2014. Bridges the gap between Eps 3 and 4. Looks...very cool. Conceptually.

Bit more detail:

The series will mine material from the 19 years that follow Episode III: Revenge of the Sith and precede the Episode IV: A New Hope. In other words, using the life of the Skywalker twins as a measure, the series will be active in the story years that come after their separation as newborns and before their (unwitting) reunion on the prison level of the Death Star.

No word on whether the show will feature Darth Vader (who would be in the Empire’s power consolidation years and earning his reputation) or even pull in a character like Han Solo, the smuggler and cynic who becomes an unlikely freedom fighter when he opts to stand with his friends against cosmic odds. The title of the show is vaguely phrased in a way that any rebel — even a Boba Fett or Ahsoka Tano might qualify as a title character merely by walking an outsider’s path.

The series has three executive producers: Dave Filoni, the point man on The Clone Wars animated series that launched in 2008; screenwriter and producer Simon Kinberg, who has a flair for tonal rewiring and energizing familiar brands with new edge (e.g.: X-Men: First Class, Sherlock Holmes); and Greg Weisman, whose credits include well-regarded work on Young Justice and The Spectacular Spider-Man.

Have you tried logging out, deleting the app and reinstalling? I've had to do that from time to time with other apps.
Yep, I've uninstalled it twice. Here is the really odd thing. I can logout of my tv provider, start the app, and see the season 4 episodes. When I click on one of them, it prompts me to login. I login and the episode works. As soon as it ends the app breaks and restarts and then season 4 is missing again. Rinse repeat.

so I have a workaround but jesus, WTF disney?

It's as up to date as it can be

Just tried it on my phone as well and it has the exact same problem. But the workaround still works

Great show. My MO is a little more difficult in that I wait until the season is over and then do the marathon, but MAN is it worth it not to have to endure the commercials and waiting from week to week.

The introduction of the Bendu in Rebels and the complete end to the old Jedi order and Sith in Epi VIII pave the way for both sides of the light and dark to be approached from a completely new perspective.

I predict that Rey's new Jedi will have more attributes of the "grey Jedi" and will evolve in to something more in-line with what we've read in some of the later 'Legends'-era material, namely the 'Legacy'-series where Jedi were allowed to marry and could use certain powers that were forbidden to the traditional Jedi.
As to the dark side, I believe Ren will ultimately succumb to the temptations that make all Sith what they are, though he will struggle with taking the steps necessary to achieve greater power in the dark side of the force. Again, he will probably take an arc similar to Jacen Solo in the 'Legacy' material.

The deaths of the prime characters will probably push the envelope in terms of Disney SW content but you have to remember; at its core, Disney was NEVER afraid to release dark, occult-influenced images in to its product.
Witness an older, pre-Pixar movie such as "The Black Cauldron". There were some VERY heavy and dark themes/imagery in that film and in others. "The Secret of NIHM"? Oh yes...

That was before the modern SJW push.

Honestly, I've loved the Disney/CNW SW's stuff twice as much as the films they've made the last 10 years...

It doesn't have quite the intensity of the film product, but it sure does pull you in, which is exactly what a great series should do.

True, but the character building is twice as good and THAT is what keeps you hooked...

That was a pretty trippy episode. Lots of cool cameos. Also adds a pretty odd new angle to the history of the Jedis.
