*****Severe Weather Thread-2020*****

Many may know-I am a weather watcher. I have a weather station at school that posts to many weather services. Also have a website with a Twitter account. (with a Chiefs list)

Below is the Windy.com map. I centered it on KC but it can be moved to where you are located. Or go to Windy.com-there is also an app.
Very versatile and tons of possibilities. This map is fully functional for the viewer.

Some have already had severe weather-where as I am looking at 5 inches of snow for Easter.

50? That's a nice little Sunday.

At the end of harvest I hadn't checked my wells in a hot minute and really needed to get there. But Dad needed some help with the combine, so 2 hours later I'm doing it in 70 MPH wind on the last 2. Got sandblasted in the first one and the second one was ****ing raining. Had to load up my 4 wheeler in the shit. I was a drowned rat when it was all done. We only got a half inch, but I'm pretty sure I got it all in the teeth.

50...psshhh

Seems like incredibly poor decision making to stand there making light of it and filming for several minutes instead of trying to get away from it.

Sad story. Guy left behind 4 kids.

Coogs-no. A local person in a shop. Direct hit of the tornado to the shop.

With the video I posted. I am impressed at the small size of storm at the base compared to how big the top is. Almost like you could be within feet of it and be ok.
Then seeing how hard the air is being driven into the ground.

That was an impressive video. I watched it multiple times. By the looks of the corn field, and the couple of other videos through his windshield, it must have been quite a bit bigger just prior to being the 1 yard wide in this video.

May get bad wind, hail storm late tonight. Put stuff away and a car in the neighbors garage. 90 mph winds in Northern Minnesota today. Derecho.
