WOOT! Watkins on one side. Hill on the other. Both going deep. Kelce with the underneath routes. Hill out of the backfield. A young QB who can deliver the deep ball. This is going to be really fun to watch.

Now, we need to spend the next two years free agent money and draft picks getting a defense to match our offense.

Chief fans, we may actually have a chance to see a Super Bowl win on our lifetimes.

Veach is KILLING it this offseason.

He transformed a salary cap mess from John Dorsey into nearly $30 million in salary cap space... got a talented young CB + draft picks back for Alex Smith and now is aggressively landing free agents (something the Chiefs NEVER could do under Dictator Carl/Fat Scott/Dorsey).

I don't blame Veach for the Marcus Peters situation (I think he did the best he could with a situation that was beyond his control, a situation I still believe was dictated partially by Clark Hunt), but as of now (and obviously we'll see what happens in the draft) Veach has put together an offseason masterpiece thus far.

He's 24 and accepted a 3-year deal. That's enough money to make you happy, but also a short enough deal to motivate him to play for the next contract. Qb definitely matters.

The Chiefs are FINALLY investing in the QB position (i.e. drafting a franchise-caliber QB last year) and in the WR position.

It is long overdue.

The days of building the offense around a franchise RB, rather than a franchise QB/WR's is over.

Praise Jesus.

Don't forget the nfl rushing leader who can finally run against 7 in a box, and is yet another underneath option.

The good news is we have two of those (franchise HB's) as well...

The only thing that will hold back this offense's potential with Mahomes is Andy Reid's playcalling.
