Up next Patriotcheaters and fig Newton

On to the next game but at least it's a home game not that the crowed makes much difference but the Patriots won't be in charge of the play clock.

Cam is I think a better passer than TimLamarTebowJackson, but we do got to account for his running abilities as well. We have Mahomes they don't so advantage Chuefs.

Hopefully Sneed and Jones are ready to play.

I’m curious about the Patriots’ pass protection. The currently rank 13th in the league in adjusted sack rate with a 5.7% (Chiefs are number 1 with only 2%).

13th is pretty good, but let’s look at their opponents.

Miami: 12th in pass rush adjusted sack rate
Las Vegas: 31st in pass rush adjusted sack rate
Seattle: 25th in pass rush adjusted sack rate.

Miami is easily the best pass rush they’ve faced, but it’s hard to say how they held up. They played with a lead almost the entire game and Cam only threw 19 passes.

He’ll need to throw more this week like he did against Seattle (44 passes), but the Chiefs pass rush is ranked 7th in adjusted sack rate (10.%) while Seattle is far worse (4.2%, ranked 25th).

I really think this is shaping up to look a lot like Monday night.

Wouldn’t surprise me.

New England is also currently ranked 27th in pass defense DVOA and 19th in run defense DVOA.

Here are their 3 opponents’ rankings in DVOA for passing offense and rushing offense:

Miami: Passing-12; Rushing-22
Las Vegas: Passing-8; Rushing-27
Seattle: Passing-3; Rushing-9

The Chiefs are 1st in Passing Offense and 26th in Rushing Offense.

The Chiefs should absolutely shred the New England Defense. Cam will be forced to pass to keep up. The Chiefs pass rush will dominate.

I’m calling this as 38-13 Chiefs.

The a Patriots have a good team and a chance to win.

But I’m picking KC 31-24. Closer than people think, this will be the showdown that people expected we’d have vs. Baltimore. Cam will hold his own but Spags will have something for the Pats offense

New England will be very well coached, they will be scheme sound, they will execute to the best of their ability, their backs will likely average 4+ ypc, Cam will hit a handful of chunk passes and run for a few yards and probably a TD

Then they're gonna lose 37 - 27

So far the Patriots fans and some media beliefs that they can win all hinders on that the Chargers took us to overtime. That’s basically all they’ve got for reasoning.

Apparently now the Patriots are the NFL talking heads hope of beating us. It's freaking sad, we beat the Ravens asses & our D looks great. The pundits say Lamar just played bad, like it had nothing to do with our D. Now everyone thinks Cam & the Pats amazing D (keep in mind we just smoked the #1 D in the league) will beat us. The lack of respect shown to this team that it has earned (on both sides of the ball) is really starting to piss me off. Not because "the experts" pick against us, but because it seems like they want us to lose. After spending the last decade listening to these same assholes suck off the Pats every chance they got, it would just be nice if some respect was shown.

Just remember how much it clearly pissed off this team leading up to the Ravens game, and realize as long as this continues that chip will still be there.

Yes, people should be embracing this type of stuff. Mahomes and his teammates are feeding on it.

Also worth pointing out that the media folks have nothing better to do. It's all just an attempt to fill empty airtime.
