D Smith has publicly said he’s not coming back. He wants to be a Jet and play with Rogers.

Don't think you're going high enough for Brian Thomas. I think 17 is his floor at this point. Just my opinion of course.
It's crazy that we're getting Justin Jefferson in the 4th round. I bet the Vikings are pissed. :P Jordan Jefferson is solid. Would not be too disappointed with that. Kamal Hadden is very realistic IMO. My only concern is that shoulder and how it's healed/scar tissue. He wasn't a big hitter, to begin with so you don't want him gun-shy. If we're going to double-dip at WR early, and I'm not a fan, I'd much rather have a slot guy in that package somewhere who can move outside and play too. McMillan, Pearsall, Roman Wilson, those types. I'd like that much more than two big-bodied straight-line speed guys. |

Generally curious to learn your perspective, why?
I'm giving up Sneed for a top 50 pick, and a 4th to move up 20 spots, 10 of which are in the 1st rd to move up for a big-time playmaking WR. I thought that trade was pretty clever. Last edited by Couch-Potato; 03-11-2024 at 11:08 AM.. |

Noting that PFF has Thomas Jr going #24 to DAL in their new mock.

KC giving up 1300 (counting Sneed as pick #50) PHI giving up 1280 Seems fair. |

Just because CEH didn't totally suck last year isn't a reason to keep him.
He's slow as ****. We can improve this team by getting younger and FASTER at the RB position. I'll for adding a vet too, but I'm done with CEH |

IF we're going to get the #1 RB in this draft, I don't see anything wrong with CEH being our #3. |

Another interesting perspective from the same podcast that made me feel comfortable not adding any bodies to our starting DL was "Chiefs season really starts in the playoffs." So assuming we can bring back Omenihu and he'd be ready to go for the playoffs it might be a good idea to get FAU a seasons worth of reps to bring him along.

They would have been better off just letting him walk for a future 3rd comp. It's a shit trade. Would take 2 mid 3's from Seattle over that. |

I suppose this mock was meant to represent a consolidation of assets to move up for top talent so I hadn't taken much consideration around losing a pick in the Sneed trade as a negative. My thought process is that Sneed is worth a low 1st, and we're getting him at #50 & -20 spots = ~#30. |
