****OFFICIAL NBA Playoffs Thread****

Have been banned from the other thread by an apparently sensitive snowflake (ironically after dozens of pages of political discussion from others) so I'll stick my thoughts on the NBA Playoffs here from now on. We needed a new thread anyway.

Philly is a true choker team. Harris is so bad in the playoffs consistently and Simmons is completely useless (the Hawks didn’t even have to guard him). They’re going to need to make some changes.

It's crazy to think his job might be saved in spite of going against arguably one of the greatest performances in a single series ever in addition to having two members of a super team be hurt/miss games in a series.

I have a friend who's continued to defend The Process.

I get it. It's better to be terrible than be mediocre.

But the big players they got, save for arguably Embiid, have not lived up to the hype.

They ****ing blew the Fulz pick and Simmons is what he is.

Simmons pick may have done more long term damage than the Fultz pick.

Given how long they waited on Simmons to develop and he hasn't been what everyone thought he'd be, you're probably right.

Also:

Simmons and Doc have to go.

That’s not a good answer to that question if you’re the coach

Yep. If the Nets were fully healthy that is a 5 game series max

In this 3 pt era you can’t have Simmons on the court especially if he refuses to be aggressive. I would do anything I could to trade him at this point.

Just floored by how lazy Simmons played. I get he has limitations to his offensive game. But he was flat out useless in half court offense. No off ball movement, literally zero effort boxing out. No doubt he is in his own head.

Didn't 76ers give Ben Simmons a max contract not too long ago?
