*****The Patrick Mahomes Thread*****

IT ****ING HAPPENED

OP UPDATE:

Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy!

I will say this for him. Watson bailed out Hardman on that first fumble. Watson recovered it and saved 3 points for KC. Great play by Watson. Otherwise KC loses 10 points on Hardman fumbles.

So it's basically a neutral wash for Watson. The drop for a first down conversion at the 10 yard line might have cost the team 4 points, but the fumble recovery saved 3 points. Lol

The NFL sure didn't publicize that but it looks like he's right: https://www.afr.com/world/north-amer...0210208-p570hn

Some of the time there is simply no reason that certain things happen - or dont.

Mahomes pocketing either of those balls because "He doesn't trust MVS" would've been defensible to many and HUGELY damaging had he done so.

A bad NFL player is still better than anyone we've ever played ball against. These guys are incredible. Just keep slingin' and sooner or later they'll come through. The reward for NOT doing so simply doesn't justify what's possibly lost.
That's probably exactly right.
