Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy!

An absurd amount for his age.

So I'll go with both patriots losses in 2019. It took guts to play big after a frustrating first half. And because he doesn't get credit for what should have gone in the books as a miraculous final offensive possession.
If it wasn't for Alex Smith, we would have won two years ago, too.

Allen doesn't have arm "talent". He's got a very strong arm he can't use properly. He's a more dialed in version of Jamarcus Russell at this point. That guy flat out misses his WR's all the time and certainly isn't going to feather any passes into a shoebox.

Replace Allen with Russ and it makes sense to me.

That's how I interpret arm talent. It's talent. It may not be reigned in.

I think of it more in line with pitching. If we were talking arm STRENGTH, sure..Allen belongs in the picture.

Can you change speeds? Do you have a slider, curve, sinker..whatever.

Josh Allen throws a 4 seam fastball every time it leaves his hand.

Thank God. Cowherd trolled him as a joke last offseason when Pat was throwing footballs out of Arrowhead Stadium just for fun. He responded with a laughing emoji, clearly showing he was good natured about the joke.

Life would be much more depressing if we had a guy like Baker Mayfield at QB. Or even Watson, who can sometimes can be short with people who question him.
At this point, what does Mahomes even have left to prove? (At 24 years old, wow).

There is no way that Allen belongs on the list over Russell Wilson. Allen has a strong arm with no accuracy. Wilson has a strong arm but can actually hit his target, and throws one of the best deep balls in the game.

Wilson is the most accurate passer in the game. I consider that coordination & mind talent, not raw talent. But I understand if you want to put him in there. Allen clearly is a shit QB when it comes to decision making.

I get where you're coming from if you're going pure arm strength. But I consider accuracy and the ability to throw from multiple angles with power and accuracy to be part of "arm talent". That's why I would put Wilson up there with Mahomes, Rodgers, and Stafford. But everyone has a different definition of "arm talent" so I can't totally bash the Allen pick.
