Djokovic is about to finish this one off, a very well played tournament by him.

Wow, I remember this thread. Four years ago since Djokovic broke in with his first major, eh? He's made significant strides as a player since then for sure. Tsonga, who played him in the final, has simply stagnated.

Federer vs. Del Potro starting soon...the real tournament starts tonight.

Federer looks as good as he has in a few years. He would have likely won the US Open last fall, by the way, had Novak Djokovic not hit a ridiculous passing winner on a Federer match point.

This tournament is still very up for grabs among the big 4 (and maybe Del Potro if he beats Fed).

Del Potro will get Federers' attention, but it won't last long, Federer will only give up a set.

I don't even think he gives up one set. I saw the over/under games at 38 1/2 and I jumped all over it. I think we are looking at a 4, 6, and 3 match.

yeah, could be, we'll see Del Potro has got in Federers head in yrs. past, IIRC, plus Potro crushes.

that's when he ****s up, when he 'guides' the ball - like he did there, Del Potro is better served just knocking the ever-lasting shit out of the ball EVERYtime.
