I would trust Veach and the cap guys to be able to continually field a very good team at other important cornerstone positions with 82% of the cap. |

He's said, he's experienced a shitty team and him getting big numbers at Texas Tech... he prefers being a part of a winner. So, I think he's going to work with the team like Brady did, perhaps...

Mahomes agent has said repeatedly that Mahomes wants to win and prioritizes winning over maxing his earning potential.
Mahomes passed on many endorsement deals as a rookie and even in his second year so he could focus on the game. He’s not going to take a stupid low contract, he will be the highest paid player in history, but they will structure his deal to be able to be flexible every year and he’s not going to demand a crazy amount. My prediction is and extension of 4/150 with 90-100m fully guaranteed. That makes him signed the next 6 seasons. 4 more titles in that time span. |

PMII has said many times that his agent is doing the negotiating and he's just focusing on football. Lee gets paid based on what Pat makes. There is no way he signs for less than $40 mil/year. He will probably be closer to $45 than $40. |

Or did Brady tell his agent, "You work for me. I don't want to be the highest paid QB. Ever. Not even for a single season." I'm not saying that's what Mahomes will do, only that if that's what he wanted, he would make it work. The whole, "The agent gets paid a percentage of the contract..." thing is great and all, but in the end if the player doesn't like the deal put in front of him, he won't sign the contract. |

So we need to fly some banners, get social media activated to get Brittany a big chain of workout centers/gyms so Mahomes can have generational changing money and concentrate on just playing football. |

I bet the talk to Mahomes earlier this year and came to an agreement about not doing his new contract until later. That way no one gets upset and everyone is on the same page.
good job. |

It's so great that even knowing this contract will be massive, I have zero fear of it. I feel like the day Mahomes signs an extension will be a day of celebration. What a time to be alive.
