MU vs. KU rivalry renewed... anyone going?

This weekend there is a game of MU and KU alums going on... should be fun.

I got tickets and was wondering if anyone else is going?

From the website...

"Rivalry Renewed is keeping the rivalry alive after the players have moved on from college! Our inaugural event will showcase the University of Kansas vs the University of Missouri. You will see many of the past greats from these schools participate in this game.

For Kansas, you'll see Mario Chalmers, Brandon Rush, Travis Releford, Tyrel Reed, Nick Bradford, Jeff Graves, and many others.

For Missouri, you'll see Keyon Dooling, Ricky Paulding, Stephon Hannah, Johnnie Parker, Kareem Rush, Thomas Gardner, and more."

Nobody is going. Literally nobody.

I thought they'd get a bigger turnout but the early word on the street is nobody is buying any tickets.

this ties into my idea of tweaking Ice Cube's 3 on 3 league to have each team have only players from the same university on them.

Lots of marketing opportunities there.....maybe some guest-coaching by existing NCAA coaches.
