***Official Who to Start Thread***

Week 1 is looming folks. I'm giddy - like a schoolgirl. Anyway, I figured I would create a thread where people from the planet can post their rosters, and or tentative weekly starting rosters if they needed help.

I'm stuck @ #2 RB and #3 WR. Here is who I have starting in week one.

QB - Garrard @ Tenn
RB - Barber @ Cleveland
Portis @ NYG, TJones @ Miami, Selvin Young @ Oakland
WR - Colston v. TB
WR - Cotchery @ Miami
Bryant Johnson v. Zona, Hackett @ SD, Porter @ Tenn, Galloway @ NO
TE - Lee v. Minny
K - Jeff Reed v. Houston
JAX D @ Tenn.

Any help/guidance for my second RB and third WR would be appreciated.

Our information has yet to be posted on Yahoo! But, when it is I will be able to let you guys know some of the better FA WRs.

Should I start Larry Johnson next week against Oak or Michael Turner against Tampa Bay?

After Turners performance of this week he is looking like he will be an EVERY week starter but Tampa's D is also looking pretty tough. My first instinct is/was to say start LJ at home against the Faiders. Either way, you should be alright.

Turner is going to come back down to Earth. The Lions defense is horrible.

What?? You mean he won't get over 200yds AND 2 TD's each and every week????

No kidding, but I'm thinking he will be a top 5 fantasy RB thus making him an every week starter in most peoples eyes.

Here is my lineups thus far. I need help in the bolded areas.

Roethlisberger
McGahee
Selvin Young
Larry Fitzgerald
Santonio Holmes
Chris Cooley
ROB Bironas
Pitt D

I think that lineup is good for now. Not really anyone to replace those guys with. My RBs are pretty depressing thus far.

Other league:
Currently I am trying to get my hands on Delhomme

Garrard v. Buff, or Delhomme v. Chicago?
Barber (if he's healthy)
Portis
Colston
Cotchery
Galloway v. Atl, Bryant Johnson @ Sea, DJ Hackett v Chicago?
LJ Smith
Jeff Reed
JAX D

There alot of variables in both leagues. In league 1 I'm trying to get myself a good RB, and in league #2 I desperately need a #3 WR.

Any help is appreciated.

I would go with Johnson and Grant...Turners game was great last week but Tampa's D is stout while the Bungals and Lions D's are pretty weak against the run.

Palmer still has the ability and the weapons around him to be a fantasy stud, I would go with Palmer.

Ok, bench him this week and see what happens. FWIW, 3 different fantasy predictions sites have him listed as a great starter this week.
