You should have listened harder.

Both interceptions were his fault. On the first, if he either waits or throws the ball more towards the pylon with a higher arc, it's likely on a touchdown. On the second, if he throws the ball with more arc, it's likely a touchdown and not a pick. He was high on multiple throws today, one of which should have been a back-breaking pick six, and while the receivers could have helped him out more on those catches, and they outright ****ed him on several others (I'm looking at you, Moore and Johnson), he can't just rifle everything. His WRs need to catch the ball better full stop. However, he does share some blame. You can't only throw darts; you also have to throw balloons at darts. Until he can do that, he's not a serious pro prospect, because all you have to do is play Cover 3 to take away the deep ball and tackle well at the line.

It never seemed like a sure thing to anyone that watched this team early in the year, and watched the defense regress so badly in discipline and tackling against Vanderbilt. In the last three halves they've given up 17 (lucky it wasn't 31), 28, and 17 points.

Mizzou has the same problem they've always had on defense--because they can't recruit enough elite athletes, they suffer immensely in the back seven. Thus, they have to be quick and aggressive in the front to create enough negative plays to stall drives. Garrett is just an awful MLB, and teams have consistently abused him all year. He'd be a great player for North Dakota State, but he doesn't have the athleticism (and honestly, the discipline) to play in the SEC. The OLBs are athletic, but not athletic enough to thrive in the conference, and their tackling and position are always a point of consternation. The safeties are stiff and slow, and the CBs, while rangy, are thin and lack top end speed, which means they can be simultaneously manhandled by physical receivers or burned by fast ones.

Any offense will blast Mizzou if they mix slants and bombs because of those reasons.

Sadly, he just wasn’t even close to prepared to be a HC in the SEC. I also dislike his slovenly appearance and obesity in someone who preaches discipline. That being said, I wish him well and future success.
Bert is a ****ing **** that attempted to use a players death for his personal gain.

Yeah credit to Odom for that. A lot of teams say **** it and pack it in on a streak like they had.

Need to up the talent level now, on the backend of the D in particular.
