It's very sad that the prequels managed to program otherwise sane SW fans in to walking drool buckets.

The bottom line:

Unlike that total shite George rocket-shot from his fat arsehole in the late 90's and early 2000's, I don't have to come up with creative ways to find positives in TLJ. Johnson absorbed and took freely from the very best of EU/legends material, and crafted a more cerebral SW film that will be celebrated heavily when everything concludes in episode 9.

Assuming horn rims and SS; I mean "KK" don't completely shit all over themselves devising ways to reverse engineer TLJ in to another ewok-laden puke-fest.

I wonder why there’s zygote symbolism on the wall behind Rey.

I've stated that's the only prequel I'd be into.

Again, perhaps I'm in the minority.

I'd be interested in several story lines introduced in Clone Wars. Death Watch could be really fun, but should probably be a part of the Kenobi trilogy. Witches of Dathomir or anything with Asajj Ventrress really. Her time with the Bobba Fett gang could be good, and judge interest for a sequel that could be the promised Bobba Fett solo movie. A counterpoint story to the Kenobi trilogy exploring Maul's survival and life after their duel would be awesome.

I watched all that and loved it but feel it needs to be concentrated on to make it happen.

I think it would have to go trilogy (and it won't) or it won't.

If that Ren/Ray scene had gone differently and they both agreed to rule the galaxy the war would be over, the original trilogy is complete, and there's no more resistance/1st order.

How huge would that be and how excited would fans be after that?...

They've already tapped OT material successfully with Rogue One.

If Solo goes well...why not?

And please cast Jason Isaacs or Hugo Weaving as Xizor.

Ugh that's hard to not imagine either of those not getting the nod, but given the limited cast of important characters unique to Shadows (or at least my recollection), the role should go to a "minority" to satisfy the Mouse's diversity directive.

Another problem with SotE: the Suprosa raid to get the second Death Star schematics would be a blatant rehash that even fleshing out Borsk Feyla's band of Bothans couldn't save..

That's not even in the book.

They shouldn't be filming the game. They should be doing the book.

I'd love to see someone like Jason Statham playing Dash Rendar.

TLJ made $130 million last week.

It's already at $115 million this week with today to go.

I reiterate that this film is doing just fine.
