I hate weeks like this...

Need to start 2 of these 3 WR's.

Wayne, Calvin Johnson and Steve Smith.

Wayne is a given.

Chicago's pass defense is horrible, and the Lions will likely be playing from behind, throwing more, so I'm leaning towards CJ.

It's almost guaranteed though, that if I sit Smith he'll go off for 150 and 2 TD's against KC.

Thoughts?

It depends on which Chief's team shows up as to how good Smith will be. Ifthey get ahead early, they'll probably try to run and we've shown ourselves to be pretty bad against the run. I think Calvin Johnson is the safer pick and I'd probably start him. However, if you're up against a strong opponent and think you might need to score through the roof to win this week, Smith has the better upside.

Pick 3 RB's. Normally Westbrook's a no brainer but I worry about him coming off the injury.

Matt Forte
Steve Slaton
Brandon Jacobs
Larry Johnson
Brian Westbrook

I have started most of the year:

QB
Drew Brees

WR
Dwayne Bowe, Devery Henderson, Steve Breaston (picked him up when Boldin went down)

RB
Michael Turner,Steve Slaton (started for the 1st time)

TE
Tony Gonzalez

K
John Kasay

DEF
Tennessee

Bench------------

WR
Roy Williams
RB
Brian Westbrook,Le'Ron McClain
QB
Brett Favre
TE
Anthony Fasano
DEF
Tampa Bay

I dangled Brett out for trade bait hoping to get a decent WR. Only person interested first offered Colston straight up. I laughed him off and he countered with Mushin Muhammad & Mewelde More.
Both times I told him I wanted his Fitzgerald or L. Coles.

I just let Sproles go for Slaton and dropped Buckhalter for Tampa's defense.

This is my first time playing FF, it's a 8 team league and I'm tied for 1st. I think that's why no one wants to work a deal with me.

Am I wrong in trying to get a WR that's even as remotely close in points as Brett?

Thanks in advance!

I'm distraught.

I lost last night against Minny's D because of NO's poor performance AND that last second interception. So, I lost by less than half of a point.

I'm two plays away from being 5-0.

Anyway, who do I start?

Palmer @ NYJ, Schaub v. Miami?
McGahee @ Indy, SJax @ Wash, Felix Jones @ Zona, Rudi @ Minny, Hightower v. Dallas?
Fitzgerald, Houshmanzadeh
Trying to acquire Heap, but if not I'll roll with Stevens
_________
ATL D

I have to use a pickup on a kicker. Who do you think is going to put up more points? Gould @ATL, or Suisham v. StL?

Okay guys.

I'm contemplating RB #2.

1 pt every 10 yds rushing/recieving, -2 fumbles, 4 pts a TD, +3 for going over 100 yds rushing/recieving.

Felix Jones @ Zona, or McGahee v. Indy?

Wow, Mecca, nice choices..

I don't think you can do any wrong with either of those QBs. But, give me Cutler. Unfortunately, the guy I play in my league ALSO has Cutler going. I am depressed.

At RB I'd take Barber and Ronnie Brown (play him while he's hot).

Marshall and Cotchery. I'd start Jackson if you got points for return yardage.

And roll with Chicago. I only chose Chicago over Philly because I too am starting them against a rookie QB.

I have to go without a TE today so this is a day of big points needed....I also have Willie Parker on that list of RB's but he's on bye it's weird no one has offered me a trade.

Here we go.....McNabb is on a bye week....who do I start?

Orlovsky vs. Texans? Flacco vs. Dolphins?

Pick 2 RBs out of these 4.

Portis vs. Browns : Lynch vs. Chargers : Forte vs. Vikings : Julius Jones vs. Bucs

Pick 3 WRs out of these 6.

Andre Johnson vs. Lions : Marques Colston vs. Panthers : Santana Moss vs. Browns ; Vincent Jackson vs. Bills : Chad Johnson vs. Steelers : Eddie Royal vs. Patriots

I'm leaning towards this starting lineup.

Orlovsky
Portis
Lynch
A. Johnson
M. Colston
S. Moss
