*****The Patrick Mahomes Thread*****

IT ****ING HAPPENED

OP UPDATE:

Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy!

Holy Shit at this quote by Chadiha.

"It feels more like the Chiefs are unleashing him on the league than simply finding a way to acclimate him to life as a professional quarterback."

He was acclimated last year.

Reid haters can suck it. He's made Mahomes at least 25% better than he has any right to be at this point in his career.

Andy Reid gave this city a gift as he approaches the end of his career, and it will pay off long after he's gone.

Makes sense. We had a little lull there in the 2nd quarter.

Took pretty big balls to go for the 99 yarder to Tyreek. Just needed a little more "float" on it and that one was gonna happen. Tyreek had the guy beat as usual haha

Grade A ****in’ leader.
You saw some of that with Albert Wilson in Denver last year. Saw it with Sherman on the big TD last week too. If only they could get the Mahomes Magic to translate to the defensive unit as well.

Only fifteen times before today a QB had thrown for more TD's than incompletions with 25+ attempts, 12 of those were by Manning, Brees, Warner, Brady or Farve.

Of course Patrick Mahomes — the guy who can hurl a football 80 yards with an upsetting degree of nonchalance, who threw a touchdown in the preseason that traveled farther in the air than any from 2017 by seven yards — can overthrow Tyreek Hill.

"I didn't know that was possible,” Mahomes said. “If I hit him in stride, it was a 99-yarder."

Mahomes uses his eyes to hold guys and move defenders better than any young QB I've seen.

Dude is next level.

3 Road wins against hated teams to start his career.

Mahomes and the Chiefs will own this division for many years.

“We’re just getting started. We haven’t even exapanded the offense yet.”

Pat Mahomes to Mitch Holthus on the post game interview.

I don’t think he’s lying either. I think there is a ton of shit Andy is ready to throw out there.
