Hmm. I just assumed he saw Brady and decided he didn't want to run him over and possibly injure the GOAT. Outside of that, the best explanation I had was that Tyrann didn't see a good way to turn it into 6, and decided to protect his defense by cutting the run back short. Or having one of his teammates commit a penalty trying to help him out during the run back. Everything else i can think of gets progressively more far-fetched. I am surprised that no one did ask him about it. I didn't watch the post-game presser with Tyrann (assuming he did one). But no one asked him about that play? Seems a little odd. |

Great read as always George.
If Hardman had caught that pass...can you imagine the stats Mahomes would have had? |

Patrick said on local radio that the throw was his fault, and he threw it right at Hardman's back instead of leading him. Still wish Hardman would have looked back sooner and made an adjustment on the ball. He had clear sailing.

I forgot to bring it up before but why did Townsend suddenly start to suck at punting?

Actually I didn't pay him that much attention. I'll give him a pass and say it's probably just that he's young and hasn't quite polished his directional kicking yet. It's not like we need him to be the best punter in the league. Just don't kick to guys that are elite returners and try not to shank it backwards. Other than that, the punting unit needs to cover well and that's it. |

On 1. point. the Steelers have Ravens, WFT, Bills @ Buffalo, Colts and Browns. To me, that is a gauntlet. They are not going to go undefeated. My hope is they lose 2 if not 3 of those games. The Cowboys had a chance to beat them - this is a possibility for the afore mentioned teams. Fingers crossed!
