You say it like drafting a Mahomes is no problem. We both know it's been a disaster for Elway drafting quarterbacks.

Denver's running game sucks and their pass protection is in shambles.

That's going to take a lot of work, Knowmo.

Remember Allen is going to be a project, and he'll probably end up sucking if Elway drafts him

NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported that the expectation is Joseph returns to Denver for 2018, according to several sources informed of the Broncos' thinking.

Rapoport added that the vote of confidence for Joseph comes with a caveat: The team brass will be monitoring how the club competes to close the season.

The Chiefs were built to compete in 2015-2017. Just like Denver went all-out from 2012-2015. The Chiefs are going to need to have one or two down years to restock/develop before they're ready to compete again.

I don't think that's the case at all, BUT if it is, they can do it THIS time around with a REAL Franchise QB prospect. Makes the process worth it.

Unlike what you're currently experiencing and about to endure with last place Denver.

Also, offenses are playing super cautious because they know that the only way we can win is if our defense forces a bunch of turnovers. They know that our offense can't beat them and that eventually our QB's/ST's will just give them the game.
