I can't remember which season it was but I tapped out in the one where you start off in ep 1 with some type of nephilim going to a Canadian fast food restaurant. It just looked like it was shot on a porn budget with some piss poor acting. 15? 17? Something like that. You can tell that budget got slashed to the floor.

The nephilim, Jack, only came in around the last couple seasons. I don’t remember the exact scene you’re referring to but I would guess season 15 (the final season).

Personally, I always felt Supernatural’s budget looked low. The monsters look like crap, CGI is trash, sets are always very generic (hotel, Men of Letters bunker, secluded farmhouse, etc.). Thats standard for TV, though.
