Question about Eric Berry

So did he tear his ACL after the Stevie Johnson hit? If so why did they allow him to come back and try to play only for him to go down the next play?

Good question.

One theory I recall was that the hit caused a stretch in the tissue and it snapped moments later. Not that it's true, but seems possible.

I have always thought that they didn't know what the **** they were doing, and that he had a partial tear and then made it worse and tore it completely on the next snap.

There is no way to know for certain that there is a tear without an MRI.

Some people have a higher level of pain tolerance than others, and it may not have felt that it was all that bad initially for Berry.

It wasn't until the night after I tore my ACL (in two different places) that I felt that there was anything wrong.

Eric Berry is a tough SOB and wanted to get back in it. I hope he can come back to 100% and not have to second guess anything. Then our defense will truly dominate.

The medical staff should have been responsible enough to keep him on the sideline.

That is their job.
