The plot was insanely stupid. People sick of seeing dinosaurs after only 22 years? Come on. Zoos are still popular. Disney World doesn't have new rides very often, and it's still breaking attendance records.
They should have found a different way to introduce the new dinosaur. Which was also stupid. Because whenever they needed it to do something, they just added an animal. Oh, we need it to camoflage? Okay, cuttlefish. Need it to talk to raptors? Done. Bleh. The end battle was just dinosaur porn, which is fine, but I wanted something smarter. |

The original was a smart film. You felt like you were getting a tour at times because as they revealed more of the park to you they actually dropped real bits of info here and there about the dinos. Kids actually learned something while saying "wow." This movie wasn't that, it was JAWS with dinos... |

Took my son to see this yesterday. We liked it. Not nearly as good as 1, but very solid.

Has anybody seen this is 3D? Is it worth it? I am usually not a 3D person but thinking Dinosaurs in 3D has some potential.

Pretty enjoyable movie.
That sea beast is one reason why the ocean scares the shit out of me. |

I kept thinking that throughout the movie. They had a lot of opportunities to show some cool 3d features (such as the pterodactyls). I enjoyed the movie for the most part, but was a bit disappointed with the 3d effects. |
