Everyone keeps using the fact that our defense from last year sucked despite having a superior pass rusk like it wasn't a statistical outlier. Rarely do teams rush the passer as efficiently as the Chiefs did last year yet perform so poorly overall defensively.

The lesson from last year was that coaching matters, not that pass rush doesn't.

The defense not being to stop the run played a HUGE role in our last three playoff losses. Remember that.

We had rushers but we let teams impose their will far too often in those big games. The pass rush didn’t even matter.
