MLB baseball expansion - Yea or nay

What do you think? Rumored that Manfred is considering adding a few teams to the MLB.

I usually hate expansion because it means you make every roster worse. And I see it as a money grab. But I kind of like the idea of using it to realign divisions.

Gotta give baseball credit for one thing... relocation is rare, which is great.

Are you serious? Nashville is growing really fast and they have an outstanding hockey fanbase. And there is so little competition in that part of "SEC country."

You're correct. A's have a small but very passionate fan base.

It is incredible when you analyze their long history, how despite having incredible teams in the 1930s and 1970s, the A's have never drawn well in Philly or Oakland. Their lackluster attendance in Kansas City made sense since the team was a glorified Yankee farm team.

Carolinas are ripe for a team.

Montreal and Portland are the two favorites. They have ownership groups in place and have stadium deals that are being worked on.

Tampa Bay has a new stadium coming in Tampa. Oakland is the problem child like it always has been. Rumor is if a new stadium can't get in the bay area - A's ownership likes Nashville.

Vegas is the obvious one. Have to wonder if the North Carolina or Tennessee could work. Not sure about.

The AL needs to take Milwaukee back.

And eliminate interleague play.

Baseball already messed up with interleague play and the DH. Let's not compound errors.

Since it has been so long, how does an expansion team build a minor league system?
