*** 2019 Prospect Tracker: Chiefs Interest / Visits / Work Outs ***

Well, we made it all the way to Overtime of the AFC Championship. With a solid draft, we could get over the hump.

This is the 8th year in a row that we will be tracking the college players the Chiefs have publicly or privately expressed interest in leading up to the NFL Draft.

Here's how we did in 2018. We had 7 guys on the list end up making the roster, including 4 draft picks! Hell of job, guys!

For those who are new, the way this operates is that we collectively monitor various social media sources, blogs, articles and reports for news of the Chiefs' interest in a certain player. When posted in this thread, I will update the OP to include the player. *Please provide the link to the article, the players name, position and team.

I am going to try to link to player profiles when they exist, courtesy of The Draft Network, a pretty sweet new website.

Let's meet some of our future Chiefs:

Anthony Nelson would be a good late-rounder. He's a high motor DE, is disciplined in both the run and pass game, and can get after the QB. He'd be quality depth at DE.

What about Devin White? Is there just no chance he falls to us?

Doubtful. He's probably a top 10 pick at this point. They'd have to trade their entire draft. For a non-pass rushing linebacker.

Not bloody likely I would say.

This might help you a tad...
LJ Collier DE TCU
Shareef Miller DE Penn State
Anthony Nelson DE Iowa
Terry Beckner Jr DT Missouri
Daniel Wise DT Kansas
Clelin Ferrell DE Clemson
Jachai Polite DE Florida
Montez Sweat DE Mississippi State
Austin Bryant DE Clemson
Khalen Saunders DT Western Illinois
Dexter Lawrence DT Clemson

I'm not at all sure what your DL set is all about... If it's for a tweener type then the closest on that list is Collier.

Excellent work Dante, just a note though that you have David Long listed as a OLB when he is a CB.

Chiefs not talking to many linebackers, are they?
