FTFY

So desperate for Ws it's absolutely pathetic. I'm sure people will remember those 2.5 quarters 10 years from now and bring it up during GOAT debates.

LeBron went 27-6-8 on 10/16 shooting in that game and would have had 12+ assists if Russell wasn't throwing bricks up all game. What more would you have him do?

He didn’t take any shots in the 4th until his 2 failed tip-in attempts under 2 minutes. That is not normal. He seemed kind of disinterested but maybe he was gassed.

Make sure and get him a third superstar by game 2 and all will be ok. Allocating > 60% of the cap (according to sportstrac) in two players does make building a team a challenge.

Well, if they had Kyrie instead of Russell that game, they win it.

They were down 15 by the time he came back in for the 4th Q. The game was effectively over and I'm sure he knew it.

Russell could score 40 points/gm on 70% shooting for a season and I'd still expect him to shoot the Lakers right out of any game they play against Denver.

Killed them last year, did it again yesterday.

Retire.

Become a part owner of the Lakers. And be permanently in charge of GM decisions regarding player personnel...
