*****The Patrick Mahomes Thread*****

IT ****ING HAPPENED

OP UPDATE:

Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy!

I just don't know that theres really a need for a 2 down LB anymore in the NFL.

Yeah, you'd like to have a guy that can plug the middle up and thump guys in there but if he can't run he's gonna get gashed.

Teams are throwing to the backs more and more frequently these days. Linebackers have to have range and be able to cover in today's NFL. A two down LB that can't cover is a mismatch that teams look to exploit.

You end up getting bombs to the fullback....

Pretty much.

I'd try and bulk Nieman and or Odaniel up and see what happens there.

I'd rather listen to my uncle with dementia than Stephen A Smith - on any topic.

Veach mentioned in an interview that Niemann can play either the Mike or the Will.

Get used to it.

After a while it will become expected, and they'll instead be unreasonably harsh and critical towards every mistake.

I can't wait to have one of these QBs that other fanbases complain about over-saturation from the media.

Hell if it can happen in Indianapolis it can happen in KC.

I do think he is limited in todays NFL, however trading a 4th rounder for him isn't a bad investment.

Terrence Smith is the first LB off the bench?

Like. Okay. I'm not a coach. I'm not an NFL coach.

But ****ing hell. Does Reid have ****ing EYES?! Does he not ****ing see Smith ****ing up all the time?

What are the possible justifications for that? I want to know. I want to learn. I'm not saying I'm smarter than Reid or Sutton when it comes to football, but I want to ****ing know why they do what they do in situations like that.
