On a podcast I was listening to, they mentioned that in the Conference Finals every team that's won the first 2 games on the road has won the series, (12-0). If Washington manages to lose this series, it will add to their legacy of playoff failure.

I haven't been rooting for Vegas per se, but what a story. Good for that whole organization, and congrats to the city. That's gotta be a hell of a lot of fun.

That’s almost unfathomable. It’s not like the 1967 expansion.

George McPhee's made the SC as GM in his first season twice as GM. He also did it with the Caps.
I think I might buy a Reaves Knights jersey. |

If Vegas is able to bring home the cup in their first year of existence, it might be the greatest team accomplishment in the history of the major four sports leagues combined.
I'm not being sarcastic, either. |

It'd be up there at least. I could see someone making a movie out of it someday if they end up winning it all.

Except, so far, the Knights havent had their "Rocky against the ropes" moment. It would be like "They Lost a game and then won 4...They swept the team..etc.." NO bloody athlete on his knees scene...except the other team lol And yes, this is unreal and shocking for this city. We are having a blast! |

Congrats on the excitement and team success! If the knights pull off a cup in their freshman year its gonna be pretty epic. |

The NHL needs to get back to the 1-8 seeding for the playoffs, stat.
Vegas played in the weaker division, and had to play the 6th and 7th best teams in the first two rounds, while Winnipeg had to play the 4th and 1st. Dumb. That 2nd round prison yard matchup with NSH completely drained the Jets. |

Go Vegas. Mojave Desert Hockey. I watched 2 periods of hawkey in the last 3 days. I kept yelling icing, offsides at the TV. Had no idea what the **** I was talking about.
