Hyperbole aside, I'm guessing maybe local media has played up the inferiority complex angle? Or maybe you're concentrating on the idiots too much. I don't remember seeing anything about how they'd be the worst ever, especially considering Fleury... and anyone who did should have at least given them credit for stocking draft picks and looking towards the future.

IMO, they had a relatively easy path to the Finals, but it's not like that discredits them... and of course, it's not like they backed into the playoffs or anything. I haven't really seen anyone pumping them up to be more than they are as far as saying they stole a bunch of all stars (NBC/NBCSN-wise, mostly)... of course, in hindsight people will say they did a masterful job, and they should.

I think you're right, in the end the owners are about making money. But I think they'll ask the questions though. Thy'll just be answered with "dalla signs",

I was there, inside the arena. They changed the intro for the Imagine Dragons, and that bummed me out a bit bc the opening was the same (minus what team the Knights was fighting) for every Playoff game, and the part where they put all the haters on blast is my favorite part, but they cut that for the band.
Ina sport where superstition is on defcon 5, not sure that was a good move lol

But yeah, great game, intense crowd and amazing play by Holtby. I wasnt happy with the VGK not pulling the trigger during the 5 on 3, but hey...great game nonetheless. And we hurt one of their best players (One I cant pronounce or spell and I wont try lol), so maybe that'll play in our favor. Who know...But what a ride this is!

I don't want to hear a peep from anyone in the NHL saying that the Blues aren't the most cursed franchise.

Caps can't be in that argument. Sabres? No. Canucks? No. Maple Leafs? Maybe.

Nice to Ovi win and Vegas dominate, but man, being a Blues fan is rough.
