I think so too especially With The Narrative of the Route 66 shooting behind it...
Except, so far, the Knights havent had their "Rocky against the ropes" moment. It would be like "They Lost a game and then won 4...They swept the team..etc.."
NO bloody athlete on his knees scene...except the other team lol

And yes, this is unreal and shocking for this city. We are having a blast!

Interesting fact that I learned today. Vegas is actually the THIRD NHL expansion team to make it to the Stanley Cup finals. The last team to do it?

The St. Louis Blues.

Also interesting: the three times it has occurred have all been exactly 50 years apart:

2018 Vegas Golden Knights
1968 St. Louis Blues
1918 Toronto Hockey Club (you could certainly argue that this one shouldn't count, but technically...)

There were a few years in the late 60s when it was the original six vs the expansion six in the Finals, so an expansion team was guaranteed a spot in the Finals (I think) three years in a row.

Yeah, but TECHNICALLY....

(Certainly no argument that Vegas's accomplishment here is dramatically more notable than the previous two.)

Congrats on the excitement and team success! If the knights pull off a cup in their freshman year its gonna be pretty epic.

What's a better outcome:

Vegas winning a Cup in their first year of existence and McPhee finally winning a Cup or Ovy winning a Cup and McPhee losing to the team he built.

Final bracket standings if the Caps win:

Code:
1	OnThe.1 320
2	DaFace 252
3	Joel.1 238
4	William.2 178
5	Joe.1 169
6	Noah 166
7	c.o_THjtt 163
8	KC_Lee 135
9	frozen chief 113
10	One Magnificent Bracket	78
11	j.1 66
12	Leafs win the Cup	40
Final standings if the Knights win:

Code:
1	Joe.1 269
2	c.o_THjtt 263
3	OnThe.1 220
4	William.2 178
5	Noah 166
6	DaFace 152
7	Joel.1 138
8	KC_Lee 135
9	frozen chief 113
10	One Magnificent Bracket	78
11	j.1 66

So it's Otter vs. OTWP battling it out for the win.
