Patriots: worst NFL team?

I look at the analytics each week. In the SRS metric (simple rating system), Bellichik's Brats are dead effing last.

1. Ravens 17.3
2. Rams 16.6
12. Chiefs 9.8
28. Texans -16.1
29. Vikes -16.5
30. Cheatriots -18.3

They were 5th last year and 1st the year prior. I could go back another 15 years but we all know they'd be near the top constantly. Are they finished

I think this formula is flawed. Pats beat Oakland 100 times out of 100

If history is any indicator, every year people ask if they're finished and every year TB/BB prove them wrong. I won't count them out until they're eliminated from playoff contention or one of the two retire.

Monday was the only time Brady ever went 3/out in his first three poss of a game. Finito, he's fine but that roster stinks like ass.

I refuse to acknowledge the existence of the Broncos and Raiders. So 30 is right.

Vikings at 29 seems way too low too although they had a historically bad day against Buffalo.

Did the Cardinals and Raiders quit?

Do they no longer count as NFL teams?

Having watched all three games -- the first one (Texans) they were fine, but the last two they were truly awful both games on both sides of the field. Brady and Gronk are fine. The problem is that they suck everywhere else. They need to play ALOT better than this to have any hope of doing anything this year.

All that said, they usually come out slow and Belichick coaches 'em up. Not having Edelman hurts like crazy, and the Patriots are still adjusting a bit to alot of new pieces on both sides of the ball. Last week the Patriots had three starters on defense out.

But yeah, some BAD football getting played in Foxboro right now.

Best/worst stat (depending on your point of view): The Patriots lost back to back games by 10+ points for the first time since 2002. That's a ridiculous stat to show how consistently good they've been for so long....and for why they may not be all that good this year. Time will tell.
