I still think it was worth a 3rd and 6th. That punt return completely turned the momentum that ended with us winning a SB. I hope we don't become so ho-hum about winning a SB. I'd pay that every year if it means a SB win.

To me Watson, Moore and KT are the floor of your WR room, that's actually not terrible. Add a vet and a rookie makes sense. I'd keep an eye on that Remigio kid he'll be this year's Justyn Ross.

Besides Watson, that is absolutely ghastly. Moore and KT are not NFL caliber WRs.

You might be surprised. I get what you mean though. I think outside of CP people won’t realize how huge that catch really was.

Goodbye and thank you, MVS. May you ride off into the sunset as a playoff hero, never to be heard from again.

I think the general consensus is that we will use MVS's money and get a $10-$12 million FA WR and we take a WR in the 1st or 2nd round. We will be fine.

Toney isn't going to be a Chief. They made him a healthy scratch for the SB.

It's over, move on.

What general consensus? Here on CP? Because we sure aren't hearing anything from the team.

MEHHH was a healthy scratch from last year’s Super Bowl, he no-showed last year’s Super Bowl parade and remained with the team.

It's a business, and sometimes these are the things that have to happen in a league with a cap.

Seems like MVS came here from a Green Bay culture that hazes rookies and he had to learn that Andy Reid has different standards.

Seems like he adjusted to that. He did not have a good year in 2023, and certainly was not worth the 2024 number on his contract, but I give MVS credit for playing to the whistle on plays where the ball was not thrown to him. There were a lot of plays this year where he was blocking downfield when a teammate was trying to get more yards.

He would have had to played out of his mind in 2023 for this not to happen. He did, for the most part, what the Chiefs needed him to do but This was a foregone conclusion unless he had a monster season in '23.

I wonder how many "playoff hero" posts there would be if he wasn't bailed out in OT by our offense and we lost the Super Bowl after he turned what should have been a 2nd & 4 into a 2nd & 14 by doing MVS things.
