Unit of the Week - 2024 Week 3 (Falcons)

It's that time again. Which non-QB position group was the greatest hero today?

Rice pulled the receivers group toward greatness today.

The defensive line played well against an injured Falcons line.

But I have to go with the linebackers. They did a good job of keeping the run bottled up, and we also got some good pass coverage. And who am I kidding - I'm all about the 4th down play where Bolton and Chenal saved democracy.

Linebackers.

Bolton made game changing plays. Chenal wrecked shit a few times.

Tranquil had some ugly moments, but seemed like he was closer to the ball this week. Maybe progress? Maybe me coping?

Almost went OL. We ran pretty well despite limited talent at RB. Pat took some hits but zero sacks.

This defense looks like it's really starting to come together. Corners are playing really well for the most part, the line backers had there best game of the season easily, and the DL is just a force. This D will end up being top 7 or so.

Yeah, he was amazing no question. Sealed the deal to end the game. Bolton has been a super star at LB for some time and is doing nothing but getting better.

Gotta give props to Steele though, my goodness he gave it his all when the position was in question after last weeks injury to Pacheco

Had to be the defensive or offensive line not the linebackers.

I wanted a choice of the front 7 on defense. They shut down one of the most dangerous RB's in the game.
