Man, I have no idea. I keep hearing that it's overvalued and it sure seems like it. But it just keeps going up, so someone knows something that we don't.

I'm tempted to buy a tiny bit more. I jokingly posted in another thread that if it keeps up this year's pace for six more years I'll be a billionaire. If it does it for three more years, my $2,500 investment will be worth over $3 million. It's a silly thing to think about, and I'm saying that stuff jokingly, but at the same time, it's kept the pace for eight months now. What's another 36?

I've told the story before, but I made a major screwup 25 years ago when I bought Dell stock very early and then sold it. I'm not making that mistake again.

Heck, buy two shares. If you lose $500, big deal. But if it keeps going and those two shares go up tenfold it's a nice win. As Kevin Malone once said, "Any time you get 10,000 to 1 odds, you take it. If John Mellencamp ever wins an Oscar, I'm going to be a rich man."

FWIW the dollar is taking a dive.

Not sure what that means for much of anything other than hopefully it will help exports.

But it may be a sign of weakness in the overall economy. At least compared to other countries currencies.

I placed an order for a WMT option yesterday at $335, but it didn't go through because the price shot up to $345 immediately as I placed it. I could have placed it again at the higher price but decided against it. That option is worth $900 today.

He is a very happy guy right now. He is the best non-pro stock picker I've ever seen. He told me about Chegg at $30 and a few others that have done incredible.
My buddy crossed the $1,000,000 mark today with his retirement portfolio at 58 years old.

He is a blue collar guy who owns a vending machine business with his brother and sister that they started.

Shows how saving and investing pays off over 25-30 years.

It wouldn't surprise me if Tesla made a stock offering. Lots of people have made lots of money and none of that goes to Tesla. Not sure if Tesla owns its own stock but adding a few billion to the corporate balance sheet would help. It wasn't that long ago that musk said they nearly ran out of money and thought they might have to shut down.
