I would have people understand that increased testing equals increased positives, especially in a country of our size.

That sure was a really stupid way to go about saying if the US was the size of Italy we would be past this.

Missouri as a whole may be on the downswing. Number of cases per day is holding fairly steady and % positive is dropping little by little.

As a nation, we had a very similar plan. It just wasn't followed. |

Yes, NY who still to this day has more deaths than FL, TX and CA combined has shown us all the way.......
Edit: I slightly correct myself as combined FL, TX and CA now have as any deaths as NY alone. It took 2 months but hey.... |

But unless you think NY reached HI in less than a month, they drove the virus down via their mitigation efforts, and phased re-opening. |

How can you take anyone seriously who says NY is the model example? They have over 3x the death rate per million that Italy had FFS. By that metric he should be talking about how great NJ did.

See above. How do you explain how NY has driven down, and kept down, new cases?

Why has every curve down looked the same, no matter what tools of slowing this thing down are used?

If they were having 100k infections per day, yeah they probably got there fairly quick. |
