****OFFICIAL NBA Playoffs Thread****

Have been banned from the other thread by an apparently sensitive snowflake (ironically after dozens of pages of political discussion from others) so I'll stick my thoughts on the NBA Playoffs here from now on. We needed a new thread anyway.

Mitchell plays no real defense and has been an inefficient volume shooter for nearly his entire career to this point. He’s much closer to Demar DeRozan than being on the level of any of those four.

You should have cited Conley (who, while not Tony Parker, has formed a career about as close to him as you can get) or Gobert (who, while obviously nowhere near as good as Duncan, is one of the top defensive bigs in this era of the league).

Yeah, they have solid pieces but play as a team. I enjoy watching them like I did the Spurs teams. Quin has done a solid job.

They just don’t play any defense. Like none whatsoever.

That’s fair. I think they’re good and probably the top candidate to come out of the west if the Lakers don’t get it together, but I just don’t expect them to beat the teams stacked with real superstars when it comes down to it, whether that’s the Nets or even the Lakers (if LeBron and AD are healthy enough to play at or near their normal levels).

Seems the whole NBA has a bunch of malformed teams. Plenty of talent mixed with dysfunction.

Watching Jae Crowder putting the dagger in the NBA Champs on their home floor is almost as much fun as watching KU lose in March.

As it stands now, Suns have absolutely no excuse not to run away with this series.

Yeah if AD doesn't come back. If he comes back healthy Lakers will win out.

After the Paul injury things kind of evened out with AD going down this game.

CP3 hasn't been a top 5 player in the league in about a decade. Thinking the loss of AD might just be a bigger hit there.

Just saying if both guys were healthy throughout I think it is still 2-2.
