I mean they could do a lot better but they could do a lot worse too. The bigger crime was keeping Matt Canada around so long and I think the front office is complicit on that too. The truth is they’re kind of in the spot we were in with Alex smith where they’re too good to rebuild but also too good to get the qb they need to actually put them over the top. It’s easy to forget what purgatory feels like when you have Patrick mahomes.

Steelers have always stuck with coaches longer than they should.
That said, they would have a difficult time finding a better coach than Tomlin. He isn't at Reid's level, but then neither is anyone else in the NFL today. Tomlin is as good as the best of the rest in the AFC. |

They don't have a QB.
Actually have a pretty solid roster, so with competent QB play they'll win 9/10 games only to lose to elite QBs in the playoffs. Feel like I've seen that movie before. |

You make it sound like it’s easy to keep up the consistency after numerous of pro bowlers. Don’t think Chiefs will be the same when Mahomes leaves? Look at Patriots and Indy, once you lose your best players it’s downhill. He’s a great coach in my opinion. He deserves it. |

I'd imagine he'd get hired pretty quick if they fired him or didn't extend him.
He's a good HC. |

Say what you want about him but he's never had a losing season and he's had some truly putrid teams. One of the best coaches in the NFL
