*****The Patrick Mahomes Thread*****

IT ****ING HAPPENED

OP UPDATE:

Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy!

I’m of the opinion that we’re about to witness the single best offensive season in NFL history.

Most TDs (55 2013 Manning)
Most passing yards (5477 2013 Broncos)
Most offensive yards (7404 2011 saints)
Most offensive points (606 2013 Broncos)
Most passing yards in a game (554 norm van brocklin)

The 2019 Chiefs offense has more speed than any team in history and has quite possibly the best QB in history throwing them the ball.

We could have 3 1,000 yard receivers that all have 10tds each, as well.

It’s gonna be fun.

I think we could easily do that if we needed/wanted to. But if our D is say 20th - we're going to be running it a lot more as we're up 2 TDs late in games.

Those Broncos records should come with an *...Manning was doped out on HGH. He was also getting preferential calls Mahomes isn't getting yet....like all the infamous Hali chokeholds the should have ended with a hold/sack.

Uhhh okay. That's fine. Can we also say that the refs give Dee Ford a warning before they throw the flag on such a crucial ****ing play like him lining up offsides? Let's just assume the refs do what they should have done.

Let's also assume that Pat makes 10 shots he should have made down the field.

Shoulda. Coulda. Woulda.

What, so how are those defenders now going to catch those interceptable passes? FIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIILLLLM??????????????????

HMMMMM? IS THAT IT, DUMB BITCH? ARE THEY GOING TO WATCH FILM AND NOW BE ABLE TO CATCH INTERCEPTABLE BALLS BETTER?

I believe all of those shoes were Adidas products, he has a contract with Adidas. He probably didn't even pay for them.

He has an athletic sneakers hobby, whatever makes him happy is fine with me.

That mother****er's only chance of getting within shouting distance of a ten would be if he ****s five twos over the course of his lifetime. And he'll probably have to pay three of them.

People who think Brittany is somehow not hot are only used to looking at airbrushed celebrity photos.

She's a perfectly gorgeous woman, is an athlete herself, and has been by Pat's side since high school.

Both of their priorities seem to be remarkably in order for a couple so young.

It’s a really dumb take. Every QB goes through the season with a few INTs that could have been but weren’t.

Hey, what if - instead of taking safe shots
deep at the end of halves with no time on the clock - he just plays it safe and doesn’t chuck it deep, to protect his stats?

I think at least 3 or 4 of his INTs came like that last year.

People just aren’t ready for the brilliance.

Yes, the Patriots shut him down for a half. The Chiefs added MORE weapons on offense to help with that. Mecole Hardman’s speed will make a big difference in how teams defend the Chiefs. The offense WAS a little different without Watkins on the field.

Bell offers the agility and speed of Harris without the stone hands and converted basketball player clumsiness. Darwin Thompson gives them a new dimension and a better rotation with Williams.
