The First Round Mock Draft Thread
Since you guys don't have a first round pick (yet?), I figured this would be the place to throw some of the random first round mocks.
Draft order
Spoiler!
EDIT: Some sites (NFL.com) don't show the team names beside each pick when you copy/paste so here is a draft order chart if you get curious... Last edited by Quesadilla Joe; 01-30-2018 at 03:17 PM.. |

Now that's a pick that I'd be afraid of the Donkeys making...
Wouldn't expect it from Elway, though. |

I might actually tune into to ESPN to watch Mayfield flame out spectacularly in NYJ

Denver passing on Minkah Fitzpatrick, Orlando Brown, Tremaine Edwards and Denzel Ward for a G would be a huge mistake.

2. Kyzir White, S, West Virginia- I hate this pick. We don’t need a safety that is only good against the run. Taven Bryan, Tarvarus McFadden, Jaire Alexander, Mike Hughes, and Jerome Baker would all be much better picks considering they were all available.
3. Jeff Holland, OLB, Auburn- Solid pick. This is probably the round I prefer to take an Edge rusher with what will likely be available on day 2. 3. Simmie Cobbs Jr., WR, Indiana- without a DL, ILB, or CB yet I really hate this pick. Not a huge fan of Cobbs either. Anthony Averett, Nick Nelson, and even Alex Cappa would’vr been better picks. |

Berry is unknown and Sorenson/Parker are tire fires who can’t tackle. I’m all for upgrading ILB and S, especially in Sutton’s Scheme. |
